Deepam Yogi is an adventurer at heart, socially conscious in her gut, and professionally a strategic consultant who thrives on creating positive change. As a people person, she firmly believes that everyone deserves to work in a supportive and empowering environment, and that companies have a responsibility to provide this for their employees. This conviction led her to transition into HR, where she co-founded Yellow Spark Solutions in 2015.
With over a decade of experience in strategic HR consulting, Deepam has honed her skills as a coach and facilitator, bringing people and resources together to craft innovative solutions. As a co-founder, she focuses on developing strategies for better people management, leading training sessions on everything from soft skills to business acumen, and championing initiatives that promote workplace well-being.
One cause that is particularly close to Deepam’s heart is preventing sexual harassment at workplaces (PoSH). As an external PoSH committee member in several organisations, she advocates for a culture of awareness and empathy, believing that education and open dialogue can empower individuals of all genders to support one another.
Deepam’s professional journey began at Lintas Media Group, where she collaborated with brands to craft innovative media solutions that drove results. Her 5-year tenure laid the foundation for her future endeavors, and she went on to lead the Marketing team at iVolunteer, India’s pioneering volunteer organisation. During her time at iVolunteer, Deepam established a robust marketing function that amplified the organisation’s impact.
Her next venture took her to Social Access Communications, India’s first social communication agency, which she helped set up in 2012. As she took on operational responsibilities, Deepam played a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s direction and growth. Today, she remains committed to cause-related communication campaigns and serves on the board of Social Access, continuing to drive positive change through her work.
When she’s not working, Deepam is always on the lookout for new ways to make a positive impact. She finds joy in drawing mandalas, practising yoga, and exploring the great outdoors – whether hiking in the mountains, observing wildlife, or simply relaxing on the beach. An active volunteer and lifelong learner, she’s currently expanding her skills by learning Fluent and is excited to expand her skills.
